DPHIL STUDENT PROFILES
I am a full time DPhil student and Clarendon Scholar in the Nuffield Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology under the supervision of Dr Kevin Coward and based at the Institute of Reproductive Sciences.
My project focuses on developing the use of infra-red laser technology as a research tool in the reproductive sciences and is in collaboration with Research Instruments Ltd. I am a member of the Royal Microscopy Society and the European Microscopy Society.
During my DPhil, I have held the positions of Trinity College graduate student Welfare Officer and MCR committee Vice President.
Prior to beginning my DPhil, I completed a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry at Carleton University, Canada, and MSc in Clinical Embryology (with Distinction) at the University of Oxford.
I am a full time DPhil student and Rhodes Scholar. I joined the Nuffield Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in October 2014.
My project focus is to evaluate the effects of syncytiotrophoblast extracellular vesicles on the cardiovascular system during normal pregnancy and preeclampsia.
