Misghina Weldegiorgis is an epidemiologist at The George Institute for Global Health at the University of Oxford.

His current work focuses on quantifying the sex-specific associations between the major risk factors and the incidence of common NCDs, such as cardiovascular disease and chronic kidney disease.

Misghina earned his BSc degree in Pharmacy from the University of Asmara and MSc degree in Epidemiology from Utrecht University. He is nearly completing his Ph.D. (2017) from the University Medical Center Groningen.
